Part 1 Pre-event some Macro shot, fun shot and tiange shot ^_^
While waiting for Eina and Heriel + other friend (that might or might not come :p) I have the time to roam around the tiange area. Wow I'm amazed with what I have seen there! from colorful walis tambo, to colorful flowers and bracelets, 180 festival shirts, tahong chips, mongo-ampalaya/corn-carrot chips, and lots of other abubot items!
Background: The roots of Philippine fiestas go back even further - back to before the Spanish conquistadores arrived in the 1500s. In the old animistic culture, regular ritual offerings were made to placate the gods, and these offerings evolved into the fiestas we know today.

Street Dance Competition Parade starts at 2pm and they will traverse (haha mountaineer terms lols) from Quirino Grandstand to Aliw Theater which will pass to Roxas Boulevard.
TIP for next year: Best spot will be just go to Roxas Boulevard and find a good spot and hide from the power of the Sun by hiding from the shade of the tree. You can just go at 3-4pm at CCP to avoid the traffic and check the tiange while waiting for the parade. Don't go on 6pm there might be a heavy traffic!

Aliwan Fiesta is annual event that showcase different cultural festivals of the Philippines. I have this dream of going to all fiesta of the Philippines so here is my chance. There are competitions such as dance parade, float competitions, Aliwan Photo Competition and beauty pageant.
