Possible side trip
Summary:What a great experience seeing one of the Unesco World Heritage Site of the World and actually having the chance to walk in it! It's kinda dangerous for some (most!!!) part of the trekking. But Sleeping in front, waking up and seeing a 2000 year old terraces is amazing. And the falls! is such a BIG bonus! I'm really liking the Philippines more and more :D. But mind is still stuck in Palawan. I miss you Palawan :D next one another UNESCO site in Sulu "Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park ".

Personal experience (this includes some tips/mistakes that shouldn't be done)

It was an ordinary Sunday...my mind is still in majestic Palawan. I knew that Mark's friend Ian will visit Manila for 3 days. Mark is planning to tour his friend to Tagaytay then poof he decided that we will go to Banaue instead to see the Banaue Rice terraces. WHAT? travel again? and NOW?!

Haha ok so some quick planning was done (not done at all). I almost can't come since I got overwhelmed and got dizzy. The reason is that theres no tickets yet, no place to stay yet. So we finally search a bus that will go to Banaue which is Ohayami we can reserve a ticket but we need to pay before 6pm. But whoops Mark will be late... @_@ so there I called the Operators office and I begged? hahaha so he said even up to 7pm! Weeeee! So Mark finally bought the ticket Whew!!!!!!

I left 6pm from our home... It was a little hard to ask for permission since I was not really planning to go to Banaue at all, well Tagaytay is close to Cavite but Banaue?!

The Ohayami bus departs at 10pm. I thought it will be around 8hrs only but whoops it took us 10hrs! @_@ OMG it's so hard to sleep in the bus. I think I woke up and slept with every "bus stop".

Blahhhblahhh next day we arrived. We met Kris and Julian from Poland and since we arrived and we will leave at the same time, and we will go to same place we decided to just travel together. We decided to visit Banaue rice terraces first(you can even spend 30minutes in here) since most of the blogs/guide published in the internet said Batad rice terraces is a lot better in terms of view.

We discovered that people there are really "business minded" you have to asked more than 3 person to get the right information. Rental for a private jeep from Banaue to Batad is 1500 after I asked ALOT then finally a public jeepney will go to Batad and the driver charge us for 150 only.
And one of the best experience for this trip riding in the TOP of jeepney yahahaha! it took as an hour from Banaue to Batad. I got hungry on the way. I saw a plastic containing snacks... I can't help myself so I bought one with out notifying the owner... I BOUGHT IT ok! :p

Then the first trekking 30-40mins @_@ going down to Batad... the bad part is the sun is setting down...later on no more sun. Good this Ian and Julain have lights prepared! Yay! so no more problem!

Then we finally arrive at Rita's in. We immediately ordered our dinner apparently most of the stuff are either egg or canned foods (there pizza but who pants a pizza for a dinner?)... @_@ But everything taste so good when we are hungry! :p TIP: If you don't like eating canned or instant foods try to bring your own food

Finally sleeping time! This is in preparation for hiking from the inn->Batad Terraces ->Tappiah Fall YIKEZZZZZZZZZZ -_- and we still need a 30-40mins hike from Batad town to the upper part of town.

The next morning the hiking begins! @_@hinn->Batad Terraces ->Tappiah Fall-> Batad Terraces->inn

I told to myself I am not going to do this trekking again... BUT this is more dangerous than Buntot Palos Mountain from Laguna! @_@ In the middle of the trekking I almost gave up I was so worried how will I go back @_@ but I really don't have a choice. I can't come back. Then finally! theres a cemented part of the mountain! Yey!

We finally arrived in Tappiah Falls :D It's a really nice falls! But it's a little hard to go to the falls, the stones are slippery and some are sharp. I had a cut on my feet yikes @_@

Then we trek from the falls to Batad Teraces. But whoops it rained @_@ so we have to stop for a while... rain finally stopped. After some tiring trekkigng e finally arrived in Rita's inn. We had some snacks and @_@ another trekking from Rita's Inn to the top of the town (yikes another 40mins) I am so freaking tired! that my knees are giving up! @_@

Yay! after the supah tiring trek we finally arrived at the top. We bought some local bread
and buko! Ang sarappppppppp!!! pag gutom masarap lahat haha

TIP:Buy some snacks since it will take a wile travelling from Batad back to Banaue
FUN TIP: ride again in the top of the jeep to have more fun ^_^

Then we ride a private jeep (1500) from Batad to banaue. And yeah we are in the top of the jeep again haha. And we saw some tourist also, and they joined us in the top of the jeepney. BUTT ACHE!!!!!!!

We arrived in Banaue with 1 hour and 30mins... we had a dinner. and next thing we know it's just 5 minutes and we are not ready yet. YIKES!!!so I run without paying the dinner (Mark paid it for me! I didn't do a 123 dinner!) and I went to the bus terminal. I asked the driver to wait for the group...and he agreed. Well it's a good thing that it's not only us who where late :D

Blahblahhh sleeping in the bus for 10hrs again. Then hello Manila!!! Hello Cavite!
